Gifts for Her on #Etsy #christmas #giftideas #giftsforher

Have a lovely lady on your gift giving list this year? Here are five gifts for her, all found on Etsy, that are beautiful and sure to inspire a kiss under the mistletoe!

Clockwise from top right...

Mala's are some of my absolute most favorite things on the planet, and this one from Tellurus is stunning. Created out of rosewood, aqua and coral, it features a beautiful pink tassel and sterling silver accents.

While I have never been a watch wearer, I really love this minimalist white women's wristwatch from Liuwa. It's flexible white silicone, and has great gold accents.

If your lovely lady is a mom, you know that her children are her entire world and that she likely loves them to the moon and back. This rose gold heart and moon bracelet from Else Designs is a sweet sentiment to give.

You can never go wrong with a clutch or handbag...never ever ever ever. I am in love with this one fro gmaloudesigns!

And finally, a new iPhone case. These have come a long way from the standard covers and can be personalized so many times over. I love ones that have feminine touches and textural elements, like this floral geometric iPhone case from Idea Case.

Whatever you give, make sure it is from the heart! And...there's absolutely nothing wrong with tucking yourself something under the Christmas Tree! I always do, and it's usually something sparkly!

Sixth Wedding Anniversary Gift Ideas for Her #anniversay #giftforher

As we celebrate six years of wedded bliss {or chaos...your pick!} this month, it's time for another mini gift guide...this time gifts for her!

Sixth Anniversary gifts are traditionally iron or candy, and for this girl...that is a-ok! The modern gift for a sixth anniversary is wood, but we did that last year for our fifth so this year I will be focusing on traditional gifts.

I love being creative when it comes to traditional gifts. Our first year was paper, so I got my husband the sheet music from our first dance song. This year is iron...iron...rail way...spikes. Both the rose gold necklace and steel bracelets are a great iron option from Happy Laura Jewelry are not only beautiful, but are incredibly unique. I love the design, both industrial and feminine!

Another great iron option are these wrought iron bracelets from gurly girl. They remind me of an old wrought iron fence, and would look beautiful in a stack of glittery bangles!

As for candy...hello. Get her whatever her favorites are! For me, that's cherry blasters and Strawberry/Grape NERDS.

Happy anniversary, ladies!

Push Present Ideas for Her #pregnancy #newmom

Ah the every controversial push present debate. I'm not looking to start one here, but I will say that I am a supporter of push presents, and not just for Mom.

This post is about celebrating Mom. She's just gone through one heck of a life change, not to mention body change and is experiencing {or about to} all of the emotions that come along with pregnancy, child birth and now being responsible for a little bundle of cute.

All four of these ideas are from Etsy, which you all know me to be huge supporters of.

{Clockwise from top right}

Our sweet babe is due in July, which means that their birthstone will be a Ruby...just like my Dad's. I've always loved it, and wanted one for my own, and when I found this rough, raw beautiful ring I knew that it was pretty perfect. Created by Sheena Jewellery out of sterling silver, it features four genuine rubies and is wax cast and set.

When our first was born, my husband gave me a Tiffany & Co. pendant with his initial on it. It was the most perfect and beautiful O, and a symbol that I still wear and love. Having your childrens initials with you at all times is such a sweet gesture, one that I really love. This bracelet by SeoulLittle comes in three metallic finishes, and is a great way to incorporate older children if this baby isn't your first.

Dainty pinky and knuckle rings are very trendy right now, so why not get one with the baby's birthstone? This one by Natsuko Jewelry is delicate, which I think is perfect for a push present symbolizing the delicate life that just came to be.

When I was little, I always admired my mom's family ring. I dreamed of having one myself one day, but to be honest...they really just aren't my style. I love this take on the traditional family ring, a Mother's Stack designed by modern mama. You can customize your stack with different gemstones for each person in your family, and add messages, names or other personalized information to each ring.

In a couple of weeks, I will talk about push presents for Dad. While he didn't deal with the weight gain {or maybe he did!}, stretch marks and weird cravings...he dealt with you and the emotional mess that you likely were. Stay tuned for that post!

My Christmas Wishlist

Compiling my wishlist for Christmas this year was a bit of a challenge. Did I want to focus on running gear? Pretty things? Supplies for my studio?

Usually, I just tell my husband to fill my stocking with bottles of paint and I'll be a happy camper.

Last year, he went all out and got me these stunning Kate Spade earrings

They've become the earrings that I wear for special occasions, and I just love them!

So, what's on my list this year?

Christmas Wish List for Mom 2013

1. A new set of pots and pans. The ones that we have are about 8 or so years old, and many have cracked lids, or no lids at this point!! I'd love a new set, and have been in love with the Jamie Oliver set that my mother-in-law has since she got new ones a couple of years ago.

2. Tieks. *sigh* Durable, beautiful ballet flats. Navy. Teal soles. Need I say more?

3. Hubs has a Keurig at work, and everyone seems to be raving about them. Since getting to taste their products at BlogHer this past summer in Chicago, it's been in the back of my mind to put on my wishlist this year. I love their fruity energy drinks for #BrewOverIce, and coffee selections to make ice cubes for my morning shakes.

4. A new pair of sparklies from Kate Spade. LOVE these ones and their subtle color is perfect for going into spring.

5. A funny running tank. I saw this one on Etsy and loved it; definitely made me giggle. Other options would be pretty much anything from Ruffles With Love

6. An oversized clutch. Great for everyday, and for evening events as well!

What is on your list this year??
